From a young age, Stephen knew he wanted to pursue a career in construction. Over the years, he developed a deep passion for renovations and building granny flats, areas where his expertise and knowledge continue to grow.

As a long-standing and valued member of our construction division, Stephen thrives in a hands-on, on-site role. His ability to collaborate seamlessly with both the team and sub-contractors ensures that each project stays on track, delivering the perfect granny flat finish every time. With over 30 years of experience in steel manufacturing and construction, Mark is a seasoned expert in the field. Operating out of Penrith, NSW he designs and manufactures steel frames and trusses with precision and expertise. Having contributed to the construction of more than 500 structures, including granny flats, houses, high-rise apartments and commercial buildings, Mark brings unparalleled knowledge and craftsmanship to every project. His deep understanding of granny flats gives My Granny Homes a distinct advantage over competitors.

Growing up with a mother who had a passion for Interior Design and Restoration, I was immersed in the world of renovations from an early age. This environment naturally shaped my path and ignited my own love for design.

After years of collaborating on personal renovation projects, I fell in love with the creativity and expression that comes with designing beautiful, functional spaces. I believe that design should be not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and liveable, regardless of style.

I hold a Bachelor of Creative Industries, Majoring in Environmental and Spatial Design, which further deepened my understanding of how to create impactful and versatile spaces, especially in small spaces as a granny flat/secondary dwelling.

Jamie is a seasoned construction professional with 20 years of industry experience. With a strong foundation in conventional timber cut-on-site framing and 15 years of expertise in steel frame construction, Jamie has developed a deep understanding of structural integrity and efficient building methods.

Beyond hands on construction, Jamie has been highly involved in design buildability, as well as research and development of innovative building procedures. This commitment to refining construction techniques ensures projects are not only structurally sound but also optimized for efficiency and sustainability.
